Emotions

Emotions are an important part of the human experience, as they influence our thoughts, actions, and overall well-being.
However, many stroke survivors struggle with managing their emotions effectively, leading to:
* stress
* anxiety
* and a sense of inner turmoil
As a stroke survivor I used to struggle quite a bit with managing negative emotions and it took a toll on my mental health.
But coming to understanding the nature of emotions and their impact on my well-being was the first step towards finding inner peace and studying Neuro Linguistic programming (N.L.P) coaching did wonders for accepting and understanding and controlling my emotions.
You see, emotions serve as valuable messengers, providing us with insights into our inner world.
They are not meant to be suppressed or ignored but rather acknowledged and understood.
Suppressing our emotions frequently leads to their accumulation, creating a pressure cooker effect that can lead to emotional explosions or chronic negative emotional states.
By allowing ourselves to fully experience our emotions, we can learn from them and find healthier ways to respond.
